“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” we have covered a long distance since we took that proverbial first step on August 28, 1995, on the foundation of Police Modern School. The school has blossomed from a tender sapling into a strong tree of learning and committed to provided quality education. Our endeavor is to enhance the intelligence, aptitude, attitude, interest, capabilities, and confidence of our children. To attain heights in the field of education the school was accorded CBSE affiliation in2005 due to joint efforts of the managing committee & the staff. After the CBSE affiliation, the school has been successfully upgraded up to class XII Science & Commerce stream by adding one class every year. In 2009-10 the school has started Humanities stream also. Presently the school has separate laboratories each Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The school is also equipped with a computer lab to support the computer education and a well-stocked library with 5040 books approx have been procured keeping in mind varied needs and interests of the students. This has helped to develop an interest in reading and enriching the knowledge of students. The role of our institute is to provide relevant, useful and affordable education to the children for the development of their personality with a perfect blend of traditional values and modern scientific outlook so that children are competent in a contemporary environment and achieve their cherished goals.

Education plays an important role in enabling a person to face a real life situation with adequate knowledge. School is a temple of learning and in PMS we are making our best effort to give quality of education to our students at affordable cost.

Our aim to ‘educate, Enlighten and Empowers’ has been tested over the last 22 years.

As we complete twenty two years of yeomen service, what comes to my mind is that “Success comes to those who work hard and stays with those, who don’t rest on the laurels of the past”

Chanakya once said that “An uneducated man no matter how good he may look or to what family he may belong; he is as useless as the flower that has color but no fragrance. He says status of family and physical beauty add no significance to one’s personality and they should never be rested upon only education attributed strength, character, knowledge and virtues to one’s personality.”

Even as we impart education to match the advancement in technology and globalization, we march our children ahead with PMS’s ethos of moral values and principles. We endeavor constantly to instill these qualities in our children. We are delighted to help them grow and develop into sensitive and responsible citizens of the future.

We in PMS work tirelessly providing purposeful, holistic education through a curriculum involving various Co- Curricular activities.
